Check out Tampah Hills’ new Rawbike

We’re all about sustainability, so it made a lot of sense to check out Rawbike, when we looked at transport for Tampah Hills. These bikes are AWESOME. Quick, compact, fun and easy to ride, they are the best way to check the surf here on Lombok. Of course, it makes sense to get a little electronic paddle power in the Lombok heat as well.

If you want to learn more about Rawbike, check out their web page and their Instagram

First villa in Tampah Hills

Breaking ground of the first villa in Tampah Hills

We just broke ground of Villa Chibo – the first villa in Tampah Hills! It’s an important milestone for Tampah Hills, and it was a great day of celebration for the team. Check out the video below for a glimpse.

Villa design

The first villa in Tampah Hills belongs to Alex Cheng Loew and Sabrina from Germany. They have been hard at work lately, planning the design of the house together with our lead architect, Alejandro Borrego. After finishing the plans, things are now starting to come to life.

The first high quality renders are now being produced and they look absolutely AMAZING. Have a look at the first one above. The villa has an open design, which will let the trade winds blow through it and keep it nice and fresh during the day. Cheng and Sabrina are looking to move to Lombok full time, and we can see definitely see them enjoying their time here.We can’t wait to welcome them to their new home, that will be finished in a year from now.

What’s next?

The construction of the next villa starts next month, and it’s next door from Villa Chibo, located just above and behind, sharing the same fantastic view.

Curious about creating your own dream villa in Tampah Hills? Check out the available land lots here.

Stay tuned to see updates from the construction of Villa Chibo, and more villas to start soon!

Follow your dreams – a story about Tampah Hills today on Medium

Tampah Hills is featured today on the awesome online publication Medium, with a great article about the story behind Tampah Hills, and following your dreams. It’s ow Jakob came to Lombok and realized he had to do a project here, and how that eventually led to the vision of Tampah Hills.

Read a first caption from the article here below, or head on over to Medium to read the whole article, by the talented writer Tim Rettig.

“I came across Lombok’s Seaside Society through videos of two of my favorite German Youtubers. The moment I saw the project, I was at awe with how amazing it was.

Both of them, once they have seen beauty of the place with their own eyes, have immediately decided to move there.

And, you have to consider:

That must’ve been a huge decision for both of them.

From one moment to the other, they have decided to purchase land on Lombok, leave their comfortable homes in Germany, and move to Lombok island in Indonesia.

But I completely understand their decision, as it is really a dream come true for anybody, who loves nature and hot weather.

Essentially, the Seaside Society, or Tampah Hills, as it is called, is an open community of people, living on a little mountain near one of the purest- and most untouched of beaches on Lombok, fifteen minutes away from the island’s capital, Kuta….”
